I’m an engineer, musician, home brewer, and fierce defender of the Oxford comma. By day I’m a consummate aerospace professional and by night a pillar of the local Greek music scene. I love deep dives into new ideas and finding my way out of the weeds. Keep scrolling to learn a little more about me.
Working to insure proper verification and acceptance planning for advanced assembly of aircraft components.
Bringing to commercial volumes, production of a solid-state ceramic that enables the recovery of sodium metal from a heavy oil desulfurization reactor. The product of this reactor is an ultra low sulfur marine fuel for the shipping industry.
Developing processes to manufacture advanced ion-conducting separators used in electrochemical devices. These separators are found in next-gen grid storage batteries, disinfection systems, oxygen generators, and even a solid oxide fuel cell on NASA's 2020 Mars Rover!
Outside of work I have two major hobbies: Music and Home Brewing.
Music is a major part of my life. I have been playing Greek folk music with my father for 20 years in one of the premier Greek orchestras west of the Mississippi. In addition to the Greek band, I’ve toured the country as a member of the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps. My music career has allowed me to travel to 45 states and perform for hundreds of thousands of people. I am skilled at the keyboard, bouzouki, guitar, and brass instruments.
When I’m not at the office or on stage, I like to spend my time perfecting my home brewing techniques, processes, and recipes. I have been able to have consistent success by implementing process controls and understanding my key variables to produce quality beer, again and again. I take great pride in my craft and enjoy troubleshooting and teaching others in the community.
